Dr Qureshi has left us to continue her training in hospital
medicine, Dr Bhardwaj is with us until May 07, Dr Gela joined
us on Feb 7
A Foundation Year 2 placement, DR Louise Davis less experienced
hospital doctors, joined us on Feb 14. They will see patients
under the supervision of a Trainer, either Dr Takhar, Nally
or Hume. We successfully piloted this scheme last year.
Dr Cathy Jones joins us 19 Feb as a ‘Returnee’
following a break to have her family. She will do 4 sessions
a week.
As you see therefore, we are expanding our Training Role,
currently having 2 GP Registrars, 1 Foundation Year 2 placement

these doctors but they will be supported at all times by your
regular GP.

Update your personal details
It’s quick and easy to use but to get started you must
first register your details with Reception so that you can
be issued with a Registration letter. This will contain your
personal PIN no and Access ID to allow you internet access.
It’s obviously very important that only genuine patients
are registered so this Registration letter can only be obtained
IN PERSON at Reception
* Nurse appointments are not available on-line at present.
New Buildings – Now completed, with
10 new rooms in The Barn, a link block waiting area between

clinical work, with all routine consultations continuing in
the main surgery.
For repeat prescriptions you can access
The Dispensary directly from the car park
between 9 and 5pm, with internal access both outside these
hours and if you are coming direct from a consultation with
a doctor or nurse.
Planning Ahead - Holidays – plan your
travel vaccinations ideally 1-2 months before you travel or
further ahead if you are traveling extensively.
